  • Dealer
    This is a casino employee who is manning the game at the casino.
  • Derrière
    French for behind (from Old French deriere, in back of). This French term refers to the last group of 12 numbers in the Dozen Bet.
  • Dime Bet
    A bet of $1,000 USD.
  • Double or Nothing
    A gamble with a payout of 2:1.
  • Dozen Bet
    An outside bet made on one of the three columns of 12 numbers (1-12, 13-24, or 25-36), also refered to as low, middle, and high. When placing your chips on one of these number blocks, you collect if any of those twelve numbers win (also see Roulette Rules).
